    Write down the necessary conditions using Euler-Lagrange equations for a beam that is clamped at one end and is guided at the other end.

    For which functional, y = (a*x + b) * cos(x) + (c*x + d) * son(x) and z = 2*y + y'' are the Euler-Lagrange equations? The functional depends on two functions , viz., y and z while x is the independent variable.
