In a room of 30 m x 10 m x 10 m size, a lizard is on the centre line of a 10 m x 10 m wall at distance 1 m below the roof.
A fly is on the centre line of the opposite wall at a distance 1 m above the floor. What is the minimum distance the lizard has to
travel to get to the fly? The lizard can move on all the six surfaces. Sketch the required path. (From a puzzle-book that is in press)
