   Write down five different varieties of functionals involving function y(x) other than an integral, max of a function, valus of a function at a particular values, and the number of zeroes of a function (these were discussed in the class).
2. 20 points
   Pose a calculus of variations problem on your own. Do not copy from books or the Internet! It should be your own problem. Describe the problem statement in sufficient detail.
