The LAMFiP group seminar — ThuGS (Thursday Group Seminar) — meets every Thursday at 10 am in the ME Discussion Room. Attendance is open to everyone. Two chalk-talk-only sessions (10:00–11:15 and 11:30–12:45, 15-min break between) — no slides, no phones, and an audience expected to actively debate rather than sit quietly. Paper seminars alternate classical papers with contemporary manuscripts; research talks require a complete, self-contained writeup shared in advance.
