Project

Each student in this course is expected to demonstrate his/her understanding of the subject by way of a project. The project is usually a an application of a concept discussed in the class implemented in a computational exercise. Occasionally, an advanced topic may be taken up and a term-paper may be prepared. In such a case, an implementation of the methods described in either textbook or research papers must be implemented.

A presentation on the project is to be made at the end of the semster.

25% of the course grade is dependent on the performance in the project component of the course.
