1. 1. 1. In-person interviews will be conducted at the Mechanical Engineering Department, IISc Bangalore from May 13-17, 2024.
      2. Shortlisted candidates should check the interview call letter for the reporting date and time. This information is also available on the admissions portal.
      3. Candidates with interviews scheduled for the forenoon session should report to the ME office at 8:45 AM.
      4. Candidates with interviews scheduled for the afternoon session should report to the ME office at 1:45 PM.
      5. For verification purposes, please bring a printed copy of
         • your application form,
         • interview call letter,
         • all documents mentioned in the interview call letter, and
         • GATE score card if applicable.

What to expect during the interview

1. 1. 1. You will be assigned an interview committee when you report to the office. Please wait for your turn.
      2. Interviews typically last about 20 minutes.
      3. During your interview, introduce yourself with details about your educational and professional background.
      4. Expect technical questions on topics related to your areas of interest. You will be asked to solve problems on the board and explain your working.
