ABSTRACT
- Introduce the homogeneous numerical integration (HNI) method for the numerical integration of homogeneous functions over polygons and polyhedra
- Present the scaled boundary cubature (SBC) scheme to efficiently integrate polynomials, nonpolymial functions and weakly singular functions over polygons and polyhedra. For homogeneous functions, this approach reduces to HNI.
- Apply SBC to numerically integrate smooth functions over 2D and 3D domains that are bounded by curves and surfaces, respectively.
